End of Owner/Operator Labour Market Impact Assessments

There are very few good Immigration programs available to facilitate the entry of entrepreneurs and business people. There are several listed on the web pages of the Provinces and IRCC, but for the most part these are small and hard to access. It is a shame, therefore, that on April 1, 2021 the Government of Canada closed the owner/operator LMIA program. It was not a great program, but it was one of the last business friendly programs left. Back to all news
