Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario Robert William Young has been practising Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Law for over 30 years.
Robert has an undergraduate degree from Hamilton's McMaster University and a law degree from London, Ontario's University of Western Ontario.
Robert has taught part-time at Mohawk College, been a trustee of the Hamilton Law Association and been a regular contributor to the Hamilton Law Association's magazine on Immigration issues since 1991.
Robert was certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law in 2005. He was part of the team of lawyers who drafted the Law Society of Ontario's Qualifying Standards for Immigration and Refugee Law Specialists under the Law Society's Specialist Certification Program.
