2023 Parent & Grandparent Sponsorship Intake

On September 8, 2023 IRCC announced that between October 10 and 23, 2023, IRCC will send out 24,200 invitations to apply to potential sponsors. The invitations to apply, though, are only going to people who filed a "interest to sponsor" form in 2020! There will be no new "applications" or "interest to sponsor forms" in 2023. IRCC says that they plan to accept up to 15,000 complete applications.

I hope that IRCC changes this policy to allow new applications.
